Overview
Nicola Tondini is currently an Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Trento. His research interests mainly involve the behaviour of structures subjected to accidental actions such as fire and earthquake. Particular focus has been devoted to the behaviour of steel structures. He has been a FP7 Marie-Curie fellow with a project on the behaviour of steel-concrete composite structures subjected to fire and seismic loading and has been involved in several European funded research projects.
